AnotherASHRAE Falcon Chapter event to promotea sustainable world took place in Dubai; ASHRAE Falcon Chapter organized a seminar on the future '' Net Zero Energy Residences Toward Sustainable Future" in line with to ASHRAE Standards using alsosustainable and renewable energy sources..
More than fifty members attended and interacted with the instructor about thesubject and the major challenges that faces the idea of achieving a net zerohomes, specially the high cost of using solar cells.
Asusual ASHRAE standards and Energy codes to the subject were also brought to thediscussion session specially the 90.1 and the 189.1 |

All chapter members were invited in addition to some non member engineers within the HVACR industry. Membership promotion presentation was conveyed to recruit new members.
Chapter president and Board of governors members was attending and conveyed a general presentation about the chapter operation and emphasizes the need of new volunteer members to work in the active chapter committees like: Membership Promotion, Research Promotion, CTTC and other sub committees.

In continuity of ASHRAE mission to promote a sustainable world; ASHRAE Falcon Chapter organized a three days training course about health care Facilities Design according to ASHRAE Standards and other worldwide standards.
The twenty two Hours course ''Health Care Facilities HVAC Design'' took place in the City of Abu Dhabi from 13 -15 February 2012. Instructor was Proff. Essam Khalil; ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer.
Twenty Three (23) ASHRAE members; interacted for three days and get trained and introduced to ASHRAE standards and Energy codes related the health care facilities Design like Standards 90.1, 178 and ASHRAE Health care facilities design manual..
